Showing your EatOutLog ratings
Your ratings are yours to use. When you show them to the public, credit EatOutLog and keep the numbers as they came. The files and wording on this page make that quick. Inside your business, in staff meetings, reports or your own tools, you don't need any of it.
Five rules
- 1
Credit EatOutLog
Put the EatOutLog name or one of the logo files next to the ratings, and link to your restaurant's EatOutLog page wherever a link works.
- 2
Keep the numbers as they are
Show the rating as EatOutLog reports it, with the period it covers and how many ratings it comes from.
- 3
Don't imply an endorsement
EatOutLog's diners rated you. EatOutLog itself doesn't recommend, sponsor or verify restaurants, so don't say or suggest it does.
- 4
Keep averages as averages
An average or a total isn't something a diner said. Don't put it in quotation marks or attach it to a person.
- 5
Pass it on
If a designer, agency or other vendor shows your ratings for you, these rules apply to them too.
