What we noticed
Written from your own data and ranked by how much each could matter to your sales and ratings. A finding only appears when there are enough ratings or visits behind it, and the line under each one says how many. They never single out a diner.
Table cards
The EatOutLog QR cards on your tables. A scan opens your restaurant's page, and new members are people who joined EatOutLog after scanning one of your cards. Scanners count each person once a day.
Over time
Dashed lines are your posts.
Each measure has its own scale, so compare the shapes of the lines, not their heights. All three share one timeline. Hover or tap a day to see its numbers.
Where your guests come from
Based on where diners who've visited you tend to eat overall, not a live location.

Dish benchmarking
Scopes only this restaurant's own average. The nearby comparison stays all-time. Useful for checking whether ratings improved after a recent change.
Compare against my other locations (up to 6):
Dish tags shown:
Click a bar, or use the data table below the chart, to see the dishes behind that average.
Category benchmarking
How your restaurant compares with nearby restaurants of the same type (from Google), not just by dish tags.
This radius is shared with Dish benchmarking, so changing it here changes it there too.
Dietary tag demand
A demand signal, not a rating.
How often each tag shows up across the dishes diners log here. Every dietary tag is listed, including ones nobody has logged here yet. Other tags diners used are in the collapsible list below.
Menu price vs. logged price
What diners actually logged paying, compared with your posted menu price for the same dish. Dishes are matched by name.
Repeat visitors
How many visitors have logged each number of visits.

Dish scorecard
Darker cells are higher ratings. Click a dish for its detail.
The last column, Taste change, compares each dish's average taste with the period before: an up or down arrow with the difference, or "steady". It only shows once a dish has at least 4 ratings in both periods. Cooked right and Order again are the share of diners who answered yes. A small "no photo" note beside a dish name means no diner has posted a photo of it yet.

Price check
What diners pay for each kind of dish here and within 3 miles, with value ratings. Looks back at least six months, because prices need a bigger sample than ratings.
Busy hours
Average orders per hour from your point of sale, in your restaurant's local time.

What your diners like elsewhere
Share of your diners whose own logs lean toward each kind of dish. Each row needs at least 5 diners, and dietary, allergy and religious tags are never shown.

Post results
The days after each post against the same number of days before, checked against restaurants within 3 miles over the same days, so a busy season isn't counted as the post working. Nothing is judged in a post's first week.

Ask your guests
One question every 14 days, each open for 14 days.
Send one multiple-choice question to people who visited in the last 60 days. They answer in the app, and you see only totals, shown once at least 3 people have answered.
Showing your ratings somewhere else, like a menu, a sign or social media? Use the logo files and wording for that.

Why guests wouldn't return
Notes from guests who said they wouldn't come back. A guest who stayed anonymous shows only the note. A guest who chose to share contact details shows them here so you can follow up. Mark a note addressed when you have handled it.
